VPS or Dedicated from SDX

I'm running a Joomla site with about 15,000 page views/day on JaguarPC at present. Its a mainly passive content - no message boards or applications. They disabled my site stating that CPU/Database use is too much. Should I move to a VPS or Dedicated server now ? Budget range $50-75/month. Please advise

thanks, volumedrive seems good....are they managed hosting ?
btw, is 15,000 page views/day Joomla content site too much for a JaguarPC SDX to handle ? Also wlll a VPS be better than SDX ?

Very High number of HTTP connections play a significant role in crashing the apache service on the server, either it is JaguarPC or any other hosting company.
But the thing more important is that it does not depend on number of visits rather it depends on the amount of CPU/resources consumed by a script , I don't think that good hosting company having strict server monitoring 24/7 can afford these type of scripts which are making problems on the server and crashing the server and also disturbing other clients. If this is your average normal usage then the recommended option is dedicated plan.

No they are not managed, but you can get management from external companies. You can't find a GOOD managed host in the range < $150

They do provide Excellent managed services on the dedicated plans. It depends either you want to avail them or not.
