I need some input.
I'm considering Shared Hosting from:
HostReflex (hostreflex.com)
and or
Liquid Web (liquidweb.com)
Due to my new status I am not able to post the links to the plans I'm considering.
I'm looking for input anyone. Reviews or commentary from clients or anyone with past dealings is preferred, however anyones opinions are welcome.
I plan on starting a new website which will contain thousands of images and pages mainly consisting of equations and diagrams for academic purposes. There is expected to be light to moderate traffic.
I plan on implementing a PHP script that will combine a SQL database to generate the categorized links to pages that are somewhat hard-coded.
The content of the pages will be hard coded in html files in directories. The headers and footer to the overall site will be contained in html files too. The purpose of the PHP script and MySQL is to combine all 3 files and generate an easy-to-modify content linking system and templated website.

I suppose they offer the same price?
Search WHT with the advanced function for reviews:

I could not find any recent reviews on hostreflex.com
Here is discount for liquid web:

I'm not looking for a virtual private server, for the traffic predicted that is overkill.
I'm looking at the Giga special which seems to be an oversold server package since the price is cheaper than their other bundles with the same features but lower transfer, and storage capacity with a higher cost. Thus, I'm looking for input or reviews in regards to HostReflex.
The Liquid Web I'm looking at their Shared Hosting - Standard package. However, I do not know what their customer support is like, or any other usage limitations.
For a site of the intended purpose I say no more than $20 per month.
On a side note: It is rather annoying not being able to link to sites within the first 5 posts. I understand it is to stop rampant advertising, however if the board is not saving my post then it is really frustrating to press the back button only for Internet Explorer to loose my post.

For less than $20 a month you should be able to get a good hosting package pretty much anywhere that will suit your needs. Find a few companies with good reviews, call up their tech support and ask a few questions each, then pick one. Make sure they have a money back guarantee, and if you don't like them in the first few weeks cancel.
Rinse, wash, repeat.

Or you could use FireFox or Opera and not experience that issue.
At any rate $20 is totally reasonable for shared hosting, what exactly are you wanting to host as most likely hosting in the $10(ish) range would more than suffice for a newer web site.

If you do some search for the gallery hosting you will enough results to chose from. Some web hosting companies have specialization in this kind of web hosting.
Of course you will be comfortable with any other nonspecific web hosting service, but you will just pay more for the same service.

Unfortunately its not a gallery of pictures. There are litterally thousands of images embedded into thousands of pages. You cannot type out mathematics and hope a browser can format it. It has to be an image.

Ah, it helps when I open my eyes when I try to read
Depending on how many visitors you would get per day you could be ok on your standard hosting like Hostgator but if you get a lot of hits and you don't have some sort of caching or optimized SQL queries you could run into problems with standard hosting if you receive a lot of visitors.
