Hello,
Can any one tell me weather subdomains are considered as different web sites by google. I mean if you are a web hosting company and if you give your users free subdomains example usersname.yourhostingcompany.com and this subdomains are irrelevant to web hosting would this affect your pagerank and overall site SEO negatively?
Thanks in advance

I believe that subdomains are considered as different websites by google. However, I would not give users company subdomains, as this might change in the future. Try using the .net version of your domain, or another extension for giving subdomains to your users, as you cannot control the content on their websites.

Hello,
Thank you for your answer. I completely agree with you I haven't thought of that however.
