Mysql gets restarted again and again.

Hello,
We have CentOS 4.7 , WHM 11, Apache/2.2.9, Mysql 5.0.51 on the server.
Currently we are facing Mysql issue. Mysql server get restarted after every 9-10 minutes. I have even tried /scripts/fixmysql on server but that didn't help. I am checking Mysql status as follows:
- Login to root SSH
- Type mysql and you get login to Mysql prompt
- Then type status to check the uptime
Here I see mysql uptime never goes above 8-9 minutes.
Waiting for the reply.

First of all look into mysql error log.
Login to root SSH and search for it in /var/lib/mysql
It may be because of bug if version of mysql is not latest. Or may be completely new bug. If so, some queries able to crush mysqld.
So, investigate error log. If you'll found strange error messages try to install latest version mysql.

As far I see no error messages - clear restarts.
As you use WHM/Cpanel I guess something wrong with service monitoring system.
The system (chkservd) not feel mysqld running and restarted it.
Try to go to "WHM - Service Manager", uncheck checkbox "monitoring" near "mysql", press "save" button, than check the checkbox back and save one more time.
Also try to look into /var/log/chkservd.log - maybe you'll see detailed error message.
If it not helps show output of commands (in ssh root session):
cat /etc/chkserv.d/mysql
cat /etc/my.cnf

And the simplest way - just uncheck "monitoring" checkbox in WHM - Service Manager.
mysql stable enough and usually not needed monitoring on not heavy loaded systems.

Check if any scripts are executed to restart your mysql, if the load has crossed a certain limit. You may check this in your cron jobs.
