Plesk 8.x on Linux

Hello,
I always managed RHE/CentOS/Fedora servers with cPanel or just withouth any control panel, plain boxes. Now one of my customers need to have Plesk panel on a RHE 5 box.
My questions:
1.- Should I secure a Plesk server in the same way I do it for plain RHE servers?
what suggestions and advises can you give me about securing plesk specific?
2.- Where can I get optimization guides for plesk specific?
Any other suggestions are welcome!
Thanks.

1- Every production server is secured in almost same way. The only thing to keep in mind is that you allow specific ports that are required for that control panel. For Plesk, please check the KB (kb.parallels.com/en/391) that describes the ports required by Plesk so you can secure the Plesk server like a plain server but allow these ports to get the Plesk working properly.
2- What type of optimization you are looking for? Plesk has an extensive knowledge base so you can go through it or if you check Plesk documentation then it will also explains everything.
