The experience with them, for me, was a nightmare. I signed up, they gave me my username and password in about an hour, which is fine, then I started playing around with it, I couldn't get it to work the way I wanted so I decided to install Ubuntu and so I reinstalled the OS. No biggie, I tested again and i wasn't quite happy with it yet so I decided for Fedora, to see if it could do what I wanted. Suddenly I get an e-mail, asking why I am reinstalling OS, happily replied, then they told me
"Sir why do you keep rebuilding your VPS you're using too
much CPU time and you're rendering the server useless to others."
Then I got this e-mail:
"Sir I suspended your VPS because to overloaded the server and that's direct violation of our TOS.
We never had troubles with LxAdmin before it just takes time for the server to update you need to learn to be patient.
Because of your activities we had to refund 2 customers.
We will build your system and make sure that LxAdmin is running and let you know
Please DO NOT KEEP REBUILDING THE SERVER as you're harming our reputation and business"
Of course I got angry, specially for the caps, like if I knew that rebuilding the VPS would "harm their reputation and business".
Then I told them that I really didn't know that they oversold their resources and that I wouldn't do it again, so they told me to wait 24 hours for my VPS to back in service, after the 24 hours they sent me another email:
"Due to customers signing up we will not be able to have your VPS ready until we get another node, this will take 3 to 5 days, we can offer you a refund or you can wait".
Of course I asked for the refund, which they properly made (have to give them credit for that). But it did leave a sour feeling.
Anyways that's the story. Thanks.
