install ssh2?

trying to install ssh2 on a VPS and im getting this after ./configure is run I try a make and/or make install and I get the following error:

make: *** [ssh2.lo] Error 1
as far as im aware openssl and libssh2 is installed.
any ideas?
rumer has it you have to edit the makefile of libssh2 I have tried that. (got that info from a google search).
this issue is geting on my *its so much im tempted to pay sum1 to sort it for me but its bound to be somthing simple I have over looked.

Past the lines before it does that as normally the error is 10-15 lines above the exit statement

I managed to sor it out by doing a manual hack:

[root@box1 ssh2-0.10]# vi ssh2.c
Search for the line:
#if LIBSSH2_APINO < 200412301450
and edit it to look like:
#if LIBSSH2_VERSION_NUM < 0x001000
Save the file and run phpize

ah yes its working
seem to have put in an extra space in the file name hehe. opps.
