Hey all...
Forgive my glaring ignorance. I've looked around but it's like drinking from a fire hose some days, other days dry like confetti...
I'm a Unix/Linux sysadmin; technical lead for Linux and HPC at a big auto company that you've all heard of. Thing is - I'd really like to get away from enterprise politics and BS. (Prolly not news to anyone that things don't bode well for the auto business, either.)
Anyway - I know there's a lot of computers on the internet, and I've heard a healthy percentage of them even run Linux.

How does a competent sysadmin break into the web-host sysadmin game?
Insults, sarcasm, advice - all is welcome
