I can't seem to access their website, so I guess the downtime part of your review is true. From the sounds of it, it sounds like it's just little kids trying to run a web hosting company but I really can't say anymore until I see their website.

It was paid via pay pal yes, i tried to do a dispute with pay pal but *******'s account seems to have been deleted or something.
It is only about 40 bucks so its not a huge deal, though it could have gotten me a few tee shirts

If they've deleted their Paypal account, then I would definitely stay away from them in the future. Their site seems somewhat professional looking. I didn't really like the "Cheapest Asian OffShore Hosting" though. Also, I was looking at their dedicated servers and I believe that they had a typo in one of the servers. The cheapest one is labeled Core 2 Duo E2160, but that model is clearly a Pentium Dual Core.

Really feel sorry that you had a nightmare with them. only thing I can say that try all the ways to get your money back. One lesson you should learn from your experience is regarding the back ups, always maintain your backup up to date.

You could take legal action if you want. I'm sure there is a law that they haven't abided by.

I think i have tried everything to get my money back but the owner will not refund it for me, they are very slow and not very professional.
As for the backup, yes that was completely my fault and i know backup my DB everyday with my hosting on 1and1.
I'm not sure if i would want to do legal action to get 44 bucks back.

If you took legal action, and they shutdown, it would stop them scamming new and honest customers, which could possibly stop them from buying from the webhosting industry. Its up to you

Just to warn some people i have had very bad experience with the company.
I First got my site and had problems rite away, not even 2 days after i got it hosted it went down for almost a week. Once it came back up and i was told it was stable i got my forum all set up and had it working for about a week. After the week they deleted my data base becasue of "hack attempts" to the server and they did not back it up ( i should have had my own backups i know but i didn't ) the server was now down so i figured eff it ill wait it out, about a month later i contacted support and they told me it would be up shortly, i then asked for a refund becasue of low uptime. My support ticked got deleted and ignored, so i sent another and the owner told me that they couldn't pay for the cpanel and he would not refund my money, he than said he would give me direct admin for 1 month free. This really pissed me off because 1. the direct admin is cheaper so im not getting what i paid for and 2. im missing out more than 2 months of what i paid for. I told him how i felt and i should get all the time that i missed, he replied 2 days later and told me again that he would give me 1 month on direct admin only.
I have learned my lesson on how to choose a good web host and ******* is now at the bottom of my list.

I talked to the owner of ******* couple of times, and he seems like a nice guy.
However, you should know ******* is not the typical hosting company.
Their server's are overseas, and of course they host mainly warez forums and such.
If you expect a company that hosts stuff like that to excellent....then your kind of naive.

Of course...just because they host overseas or offshore that doesn't let them off, because some companies anti piracy departments can and sometimes will just go after them in another way....i.e try to cause as much disruption to their service as possible including ddos attacks or suchlike. Also rival warez forums are know for spits and spats which may explain things too.

Apparently they teamed up with another company so they could use paypal again ( paypal banned ******* ) , my website came back up for less than 24 hours and now is down again.
i wouldn't trust them with your money
