The title says it all.

Over a relatively short period quite a bit of content had developed here. It really does suck to see it all gone.

Lets start up some new discussions because the popularity of this section was really increasing and many good suggestions and information was being shared.

yeah it is sad however there are obviously not many emerging technologies around that are interesting. I haven't seen anything new.

This section up until the recent database hack was full of useful threads discussing the in an outs of hosting game servers, so I would still consider the topic interesting. It all depends on your interests.

yes I agree this section was bursting fulll of content before the hack. just unlucky that a clever hacker hacked it deleting the backups first. Guess it pays to have multiple back ups some times.

like you guys I too was supprised to see this empty, some useful things where in here and the other emerging tech forums.
