better off asking which don't work. In my experience most are supported in some form or another.

You didn't say what sort of network adapter also

Ethernet, Fiber or SAS ??

I have to ask but why is it that you think an Intel nic will not work under Windows?

Linux might support more [generic, and older] nics than Windows, but that's like saying a junk yard has more variety than a new car dealership. It's true (to that exact extent), but most people want h/w that is supported 100% of the way, as opposed to some flaky 15%.

Windows is usually the primary market for just about all the hardware out there, except for the very fringe stuff, or the extremely specialized gear.
