Looking for a shared host that can run Ubersmith

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows any good hosting providers that can support Ubersmith (www.ubersmith.com).

If you do i would be keen to know what ones.

Thanks!

Isn't that a similar program to WHMCS and just runs on PHP as a autobiller, if so, any good host can provide that with basic PHP support i.e... anyone with paypal.

It looks like an automation system, if a provider can support PHP and a database system (I would guess MySQL would be suitable) then any host should be suitable. However, you will want to make sure that the host does allow functions which are used in that program.

As long as they require PHP and simple database system such as MySQL, most hosts should be able to run this.

As a precaution, just shoot them an email to be sure

Thanks

Great advice. Most hosts (especially those with cPanel) should have no problem hosting Ubersmith on their servers. Submitting a support ticket will allow you to find out for sure as well as test their support response times.

You should just find a LAMP host and with latest versions hopefully + most modules and you should be fine. Just cross-check the requirements.

Cheers

Question

I don't get needing a shared host to support a program for monitoring datacenters...just seems like a strange request unless you want to monitor your center from another center....or do you just want the "lite" and have your billing on another server than the one where your accounts are ???
