Is this Dual core Xeon CPU
Hi All,
Plesk shows my CPU details as below
CPU - INTEL Pentium III (Katmai) EM64T Family 6 Model 23 Stepping 6 ~1995MHz
VPS provider promised Dual core Xeon CPU. Is above CPU a Dual core Xeon??

Can you logon to ssh and paste the output from " cat /proc/cpuinfo " (without the quotes)
Doesn't make any sense to be a Katmai CPU, those CPUs are from 1998 and their maximum clock speed is no where near 2GHZ

Nope, its a Pentium III, unless your providers virtualization system masks the host nodes processor type.

What system is your host using? Virtuozzo? Hyper-V?
Right click on 'My Computer', hit 'Preferences' and see what it says in there.

Well then right click My computer and click properties.

In that case, go to the control panel, and select 'system'.

Yeah, at most those can go up to 1.33 I believe.
More than likely the CPUID is reported incorrectly from the Hypervisor
EDIT: Actually Katmai was limited to sub 1GHz speeds, I had a 450 Mhz Katmai P3 at some point

Its shows Intel Xeon E5404 @2.00Hhz. So I belive its Dual core Xeon CPU
