It has come out also that the whole incident that ThePlanet made into a disaster was all a lie, the local emergency services were contacted and as far as I can find online, knew nothing about what ThePlanet was claiming, all a sham.

Agreed  Though those 2 sided plexiglass plates are the cheapest way of hosting; I guess Google did something similar (one or two of those pics are similar).
The pics are of a rack next to mine; the owner loved telling me the cost efficiency of these things and also that, contrary to popular ideas, the cooling was way better on those things. When the airco broke down in that space (and this is one of the largest colo's here........) in the summer, my expensive HP DL360s went down; these babies just kept on going, even the ones with more power/watt consumption.
