Check the httpd.conf and see if you have vhost entry for the site and that is correct.

As Techark told, check the vhost in the httpd.conf and make sure that the path is correct.
Also, i believe you haven't uploaded any index page so only it displays the content of the directory (/home/username/public_html)
So, upload an index.html with a test message in it.

Rebuild your httpd.conf
/usr/local/cpanel/bin/build_apache_conf
/etc/init.d/httpd restarttanfwc

/scripts/rebuildhttpd.conf
