They couldnt afford to keep selanne, hes a excellent player, but we don't have enough funds i believe, some say we are soon going to loose our sponsorship from Disney.

heh. i hate the rams after last year. eagles should've won.
nah, just kidding. rams are good. but i dunno for this year. eagles and 49ers are better competition, but we'll see.

If I didn't bet on Denver winning, three generations of my fiancee's family would skin me alive.
I used to follow the Bengals (and the mighty Boomer), but let's face it, they're hopeless, and have been for a long time.

hehe. yes the collywobbles are pretty good - even with their CEO hosting 'Who wants to be a Millionaire'.
I suspect this thread is NFL biased though

Why is it only the Americans who insist on calling it soccer...??? Every other english speaking country manages with the word football why change the name?? Sorry but it really annoys me when it's called soccer
Err.. which rubgy.... union or league... there are two variations?? Union is a proper contact sport without the full kevlar body suits and a break for a rest every 2 minutes....dBforums.com - Database design, development and administration.

Yes as you should
Call a sport by it's proper name... instead of changing it.

of course union its the only rugby, im aware theres some lasses down south that play a variation with dresses and tea parties. as for soccer, since i play american football i tend to call that football, and wussball soccer esp when talking to our american cousins as it saves misunderstandings. lets face it, it doesnt really count. its amusing training for agility now and again.
