NitroZone goofing big-time again

Previously I posted on this forum about my NitroZone blues. Now, downtime occurrances and e-mail outages with my NitroZone-hosted website isracoins.com are becoming a daily affair and a nightly nightmare.

I just sent an e-mail to NitroZone about my wish to terminate my 1-year hosting package prematurely after just 4 months. This bad hosting causes me too much headache, sleepless nights, as well as losses.

Pity that the NitroZone people, who appear to be reading these threads didn't even respond through this forum. I also never received any PM from them.

Sorry NitroZone, if this is the way you do business, you'll be out of business soon.

It is indeed currently not possible to load your site. Hope you will find a new provider soon which is able to host your site.

040, my second website http://sheqel.info is hosted by TVG Hosting since June 2008, with no downtime and outages at all. Also a 1 Dollar plan. Same type of package, a few hundred MB space, modest bandwidth (500 MB/month, think), 1 FTP, 2 PoPs, webmail. That's all, no bells and whistles.
My demands are also very modest; the only thing I need is good uptime. I'm willing to accept maximum 1/2 hour downtime per month for maintenance.

In that case i would suggest you move your site to this host however it is sometimes smart to not keep all your eggs in the same basket. While a 1/2 hour downtime for serious maintenance would be way to short ( (but then this should not happen every month ) , i understand where you are aiming at.

Hope you get it all sorted out.

The eggs and the basket... that was exactly the reason why I split both my website between 2 hosts.

Before, both sites were hosted with Internet For All, the greatest 1 Dollar host I ever had since I'm online (2002).
But... early June 2008 Internet For All dumped their 1 Dollar hosting, and subsequently dumped my too.
Then I decided not to put all my eggs in the same basket again. But maybe I'll again renegade on that rule.

Sorry NitroZone, if this is the way you do business, you'll be out of business soon.
It is to be noted that this forum is not a means for support for *any* web host, more specifically not for NitroZone. If you need support from NitroZone you will need to contact them directly.

I wish you the best of luck.

MikeDVB, sorry about that. The problem is that when my site is down, so is NitroZone's website, so no support ticket can be opened, Anyway, I've contacted them directly by e-mail, so no more direct communication attemts with them via the forum.

It's not such a big deal, paid USD 12 for a year, got 4 months hosting for USD 4, that leaves USD 8 to possibly chargeback. Luckily I paid via PayPal, which are easier on chargebacks than credit cards, as long as I give a good explanation on the reason for asking payback.
But even if they refuse, I won't go bust because of those 8 bucks.

12 for a year is a big no no if u want reliability. But than again thats just me. And yaa i see 12$ aint a big amount worth going after the charegback route.
