    Cool Spam?

I used to get emails from this "company" when i was running my web site ieeto.net

now im getting them again. I have to admit that its a very good way to grab attention but it is

They have a spider that gathers emails from a domain name and then renders it in a browser and sends out emails.

I hate those emails! I get them all the time now, and it makes me mad ... I'll get sometimes 6-7 per domain, because it just indexes the emails in the webpages. Annoying as hell.

You think you got it bad? They keep sending them to my support email (which sets off an alarm) for domains that we host!!

I got one of these to EVERY email account on the okihost domain last week.. I had always gotten them to my email and support@ but once I saw them all over the place I looked up the IP and notfied the upstream but never heard anything back.. The other one that is getting to me is the one that tells me that "YOU HAVE BROKEN LINKS" on your site blah blah some service that checks your links.

You have to hand it to them, it's the most impressive SPAM I've ever seen.

They'd make more money selling their SPAM PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY than they would selling submissions to search engines.

how are they still in business? most spam operations are a 1 night stand. They have been doing this for a while. Do they have servers in China or something?

For one thing I code my email addys so they look like &123; but render perfectly in a browser.
Secondly, I do a whois on the IP or domain that originated it, (not the addy in the return field) then send them a email berating them, and telling them to prevent their clients from sending me any more spam. If I get a autorepsonse, and the spam continues, I am now armed with all I need.
I set that box to forward all emails to the address I complained to. Their autoresponder will respond everytime a spam gets forwarded, as well as every time an autoreponse is generated, and so on. Kinda like an autogenerated mail bomb, and the good part is they did it to themselves.
After a couple of weeks, I take it off and see if it stopped. It usually does.

I know ***** ripped off everybody else, but they wouldn't do it to me.

    Talking

I have been using a FREE little program I picked up about two months ago to fight spam inmy email and honestly it has helped a lot.

The software is called MailWasher (www.MailWasher.net). What it does is pre-check your email. All you have to do it go down the list and click on which ones you don't want. The program then sends back an email that appears to be a bounced email from the server rather then just deleting the mail so the SPAMMER knows there is an email address.

It takes a month or so but it has cut my spam down quite a bit. Might as well try it out it is free. If it is free, its for me!

    3 Words: CPanel Block E-Mail

I have 130 filters set currently. It has cut back the spam from tons to 1-2 a day, if that.

I get those thigns all the time. They really piss me off. The worst thing I have the same situation that the one guy said above, they email my customer only email which sets off my cell phone. Totally honest, I got 2 a day for the past week.

Secondly, there prices are unbelievable high. I cant believe they'd go to all that work, and get nothing of it.

But, I recomment to you all www.mailwasher.net this program allows you to bounce back e-mails to them, so that they think the e-mail no longer exists, this makes the list delete that e-mail. Its really quite a cool program.
