Rebrandable Outgoing Mail Server Setting

Hello,

Just wondering if a company provides a rebrandable outgoing mail server setting service?

Ie. So that my clients can use their Outlook on their laptop when they travel interstate/overseas

Kind regards,
Anthony

I think most of the hosting companies provide that, it works like your client will be using mail.clientdomain.com as POP & SMTP.

Can you elaborate more on "rebrandable".

Hello,

Thanks for the reply.

As I understand it, I thought that your Outgoing Mail Server Setting was usually related to your Internet Service Provider.

Is this not the case?

Kind regards,
Anthony

Normally you get SMTP services with the hosting account and in that case mails are being sent using the servers SMTP as mail.clientdomain.com.

Some ISP block port 25 forcing you to use their own SMTP, to bypass that generally your host also provide SMTP services on alternate port on their server.

So if you have www.yourdomain.com hosted properly, you will use mail.yourdomain.com as POP & SMTP.
