Adult business is not different than any other business, godaddy may suspend your domain if godaddy receives a complaint about illegal things being done with the domain, including spamming, fraud, showing illegal porno, etc
Showing naked people is as legal as showing dressed people.
If you are interested, check http://nodaddy.com/, for more information on how godaddy suspends domains and why

Sorry to say, but the "adult" industry is VERY different from other business in that if you're in the US for instance, you'll need to do A LOT more homework to cover your *ss.
I'm sure since you've already found a host, you should have also got access to resources that offer advice to adult webmasters. Look more carefully, and you'll see how other fellow adult websites register their domains.

With Go Daddy, ensure your content is legal and that your information is up-to-date on the Go Daddy web site.
Also in America there are many requirements when it comes to adult sites, which I won't get into. But you should be able to find with a quick search.

You can register any domain you want. Content is web hosting related question and if something wrong with content you will have problems with web hosting provider. not domain name registrar.

Quite a few cases have been reported (here and/or elsewhere) that *some* registrars are "suspending" DOMAINS for content-related controversies.

Most probably for child-pornography. The other contect-specific reason for domain suspension is phishing. Everything else is hosting problem, not registrar's.
(of course, the court order or a subpoena from FBI can change the things slightly here)

When registrars shut down domain names because of their content, it opens a very dangerous precedent.
Whether the content is child porn, phishing or anything illegal is NOT the point here, because it's the NAMES that matter here.
