Need cheap shared hosting

Guys,

The cheapest two are dreamhost and hostmonster

Dreamhost doesn't allow black hat seo and hostmonster doesn't allow adult.

Any other cheap alternative?

Are you looking for cheap shared or reseller hosting?

FYI - You posted this in the reseller forum.

I don't think there are any cheap hosts that allow adult content.

Also how much bw and disk space do you need?

Before you signup for any account make sure you read their terms of service to make sure they allow the content you are going to have on your website.

Also remember "you get what you pay."

Not that it is advised to try using it anyway.

Depends on the definition of "cheap", but there are direct competitors of the hosts that the OP mentioned, that don't place such limitations on content. The limitations on CPU and memory usage will continue to be dictated by the amount one pays though.

Not that I am a fan of top 10 hosts sites, but those are the places where one can find some of the direct competitors I was mentioning earlier. Proper research on their quality of service remains of top importance of course.

Adult content is usually allowed unless it's illegal, like pedo, bestiality, etc. Blackhat seo can sometimes be allowed, but shouldn't really be under the grounds that it's a despicable practice. Try finding something in the netherlands if you're really concerned.

Hostgator is also very cheap and has a great reputation. They allow adult sites as well.

As for black hat seo - I cannot understand why a host would deny hosting such sites. It is the problem of the site owner (at some point the search engines will ban this site).

That's just what I was about to say. Shouldn't be a problem with hosts who provide dedicated IP addresses, though.

Except that once that IP is banned and that client eventually moved on, the IP remains banned.

So my question to you would be what so called "Black Hat" tactics are you wanting to use? It all depends on what you are doing if it will violate the TOS of the web hosting company providing your service?

It is very vague to list just "Black Hat" tactics as could mean a variety of interpretations depending on the application and intent.

Well, dreamhost doesn't allow black hat.

Anyway, I see many good webhost. Bluehost. Hostgator. As I said price is not much of an issue for me. 20%-30% range is ignorable.

As for dreamhost, I guess I am done with them. They're okay. But their rules are pretty unclear.

Yes this should be in shared forum. Actually I also bought Hostgator reseller account.

I think shared hosting is simply way more cost efficient than reseller account. At that time no shared hosting allow multiple domains.
