LiquidWeb / GeekStorage / ServerComplete?

Hallo,

I want to move my vps from my current VPS hosting. I have shorten my option become those 3 provider. Would WHT members help me to choose which provider is the best one?

LiquidWeb
RAM: 512MB
Storage: 50GB
Bandwidth: 400GB
Price: $50/month

GeekStorage
37.5 GB Storage!)
300 GB Premium Bandwidth!)
512 MB Guaranteed SLM RAM)
1,152 MB Burstable SLM RAM
Price $35.00/month

ServerComplete
45GB Disk Space
768MB Guaranteed RAM
500GB Premium Bandwidth
HyperVM Management Console
2 IP Addresses
Price $42.95 + $5 (cPanel License) = $47.95

My primary VPS usage is for hosting my phpBB site with average user access around 100 in the same time. Also I need full managed VPS, so support must be good..
Thank you..

I've heard good things about liquidweb, but my only experience is with servercomplete and I have had no issues with them whatsoever. Their support is prompt and efficient (I've only needed it once to set up rDNS), their servers are fast, and have had only 1 downtime with them that didn't last too long. The best thing about the downtime, though, was their communication. They kept us informed along the way saving countless tickets to be submitted and go unanswered.

this is a beef that I have with another provider that I use. Recently the cpu load on the server was upwards of 24 with memory usage at 86%+ and my sites were going up and down (this is not a vps) for over four hours. I submitted a ticket and it took them over 3 hours to respond. And all they said was that there were high cpu usage on the server and they were working on it. It took them nearly 4 hours to shut down the offending account or script? That seems a little long. Anyway, back to the point, communication. I can forgive the problems that servers have if only we have timely and pertinent communication from the provider.

I'm looking into buying another VPS and kind of have my sites on GeekStorage and looking for any reviews, myself.

I don't know a whole lot about Geek Storage, but can't really find any negative reports either. (Generally if you like something you tell your friends, if you don't like something you tell everyone.)

From what I have seen, the others you mention have fine reputations.

I have had hosting with GeekStorage for a few months, no problems and their support has been very quick to respond and friendly the 2 times i have lodged a ticket.

I don't have any experience with the other 2 providers, but GeekStorage offers very good value for money. I notice they have 60 day money back guarantee so i guess there's little risk if you are not happy.

I just found this coupon 50MORE for 50% more space/bandwidth during August when looking for the money back duration too.

Liquidweb seem to have really good reviews at WHT also, but as i mentioned i haven't hosted with them.

Best of luck.

Daniel from ServerComplete is a really great guy, I highly recommend his services if you're not looking for it to be fully managed and if you're looking for a smaller company to go with.

Best of luck.

I recommend GeekStorage or Liquidweb. Geekstorage is ran by two people, although they have better pricing.

Let's just break it down this way:

LiquidWeb: Large company - Reliable, fully managed, but not "personal" per se
GeekStorage: Large company feel, small company benefits
ServerComplete: Small "home-town" host, personal service, etc

Great breakdown, GeekStorage has great ticket support response time too! However, once your site gets big, I recommend switching to LiquidWeb.

We offer dedicated servers, you just have to e-mail sales to get a quote for them.
