3) Atleast 100 Databases which pulls space from the hosting space

5) Extremely Good Uptime prefer 99.9%!
6) 24/7 Tech Support

Preferred......
ImHosted.com
IxWebhosting.com
BlueHost.com
iPower.com
StartLogic.com
Dot5Hosting.com
PowWeb.com

I was using lunarpages but lately there support has been horrible.

How much is a lot of space and bandwidth? It looks like you're looking at a generic list of "top 10" companies.

And there's irony for you.

< $10/m for 100GB space and 1TB bandwidth isn't "realistic" either sadly.

There is no the "best" of the top web hosting companies. All of companies' views have both of good and bad, lunarpages.com is a overseller host, but there are somebody think it is a good host, because it is suitable to them, so suitable to you is the "best".

There is no best host, only the best host for you.

To the Poster, What sort of site do you plan on creating, I am not sure you will need a lot of space and a lot of bandwidth; The site you are planning to make will determine what you need.

If you are planning on running a site with downloads, loading images and streaming media then you may look at 50 + Excess Depending on what sort of traffic you intent to target.

If you are going to be hitting no more than 100 Views a month sure Shared Hosting will work, This factor is also determined by the amount of people online at the one time also.

To all the Hosts that you are Looking at Preferred, Are all on the top lists of Overselling and the ones you have chosen all pay to be at the top of that List.

Can I ask why you have chosen those as your preferred Hosts?

Do you want the good news or the bad news?

Good news - Most of the "top 10 web hosts" claim to offer the resources you're looking for.

Bad news - Your expectations are unrealistic, if you're looking for reliable hosting with support. You're probably wondering then what should you expect for around $10 per month? 2GB/20GB or higher. I know it's not what you wanted to hear but eventually you'll "see the light". Until then, have a fun time spinning your wheels

You will probably need to have a much larger budget to get what you desire. That's more like something you would get with a small scale dedicated server.

Ok, found what I need.

webhostingreviews .com

HostMonster will serve me well. I was using lunarpages and had no problems and if there overselling I have no problem with overselling, lol. I usually have at least 2-5 users on at any given time.

By the way, HOST GATOR is offering your first month for 0.01! Look up Host Monster Coupon, instant setup and you can pay by debit/credit or paypal!

"OOPS" By the way, HOST GATOR is offering your first month for 0.01! Look up Host Monster Coupon, instant setup and you can pay by debit/credit or paypal!

99.99% of hosting accounts allow this.

Again this is generally how these things work, as for 100 databases on one single account, I do wish you the best of luck.

$25 in Google AdWords will last you about 1 day if you're serious about advertising.

Then you're likely looking more towards the higher end of the shared hosting market. I'd say $10/month or so would be pretty reasonable for what you've asked for up until this point (item 5).

If you want 24/7 phone support you'll likely have to shop around. Keep in mind that often times the phone support does nothing but put in a ticket for you, which you could have done yourself. If you want 24/7 email/ticket support then this should be a cakewalk to find.

Quite a few hosts don't put a hard limit on e-mail accounts, however like everything else there is a limit one way or another be it CPU/Memory usage from too many accounts checking/sending email for example.

Again they may say "unlimited" but realistically there is a limit somewhere. Just as there is no unlimited diskspace or unlimited transfer there is no such thing as unlimited addon domains. You can certainly host more domains with one account if you go towards the higher end accounts, but generally those accounts will be more realistic in their offerings and limit how many addon domains you can host. If you look at it this way, giving everybody on a server unlimited domains basically makes it next to impossible to control how many domains are hosted on the server which makes it more difficult to manage and keep it reliable.

100mb is a decent amount for a web site but if you're really wanting 100+ databases and unlimited addon domains and unlimited e-mails 100mb is going to run out really fast.

That's basically a list of the highest paying affiliate programs offered by hosts. I'm guessing you got that from a "top 10 web hosts" list or a "web hosting review" page of sorts. They are all bogus with paid spots instead of being actually based upon reviews.

Looks to be another affiliate driven site, I can't vouch for the credibility of any of the reviews on this web site so pick at your own discretion.

Do us all a big favor and run a search here on WebHostingTalk (you can find the search tool at http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search.php) for HostMonster and look through at least the last 15~20 threads where HostMonster was directly spoken about. You may change your mind that HostMonster is the right choice, or you may not but it certainly helps to do the appropriate research before leaping onto a new host.

Yeah, paying by debit/credit or paypal is nothing special... Most hosts allow that (and some allow more). The $0.01 coupon for the first month is definitely not new and has been around for ages. As for a setup fee for a shared hosting account, I'd never pay one. Generally the setup of the account is automated and requires little to no human intervention.

Best of luck.

Ok so you signed up with 1and1.com, did you buy hosting? If you did, good luck, enjoy the fact you'll not be able to cancel and still be billed for it!

Anyway, with your budget & requirements, your only exptected to go with over-sellers, I pay good money for my hosting, and that's what you should do...
