godaddy does not help NS error IP

For over a week I am having problems with Godaddy.
All my domains are there and after going to Hostgator reseller account i made the change of the IP's for the NS1 and NS2
Now after a week still the ping is going to my old host.

Support is not only slow but every time I am getting only dummies replies how to change the name server.
I know that and I did do the change but nothing is happening.

What can be the problem or is it better to transfer out as my experience with GoDaddy is far from friendly.

Is one of the changed domains the one with the actual nameserver names? Is the registration with GoDaddy as well?

You may need to update the nameserver -> IP with the registry of that domain. Else, what responses are the old nameservers giving out?

Some actual domain to investigate may help.

ERROR: One or more of the nameservers listed at the parent servers are not listed as NS records at your nameservers. The problem NS records are:
ns1.makserver.com
ns2.makserver.com
This is listed as an ERROR because there are some cases where nasty problems can occur (if the TTLs vary from the NS records at the root servers and the NS records point to your own domain, for example).

What domain?

My mind's a little fuzzy right now, but I'm guessing it's that the websitewelcome.com nameservers aren't returning the makserver.com NS in the results. For the makserver.com that's the case, but it shouldn't matter much in reality, I think.

I wrote the same thing to hostgator but the answers are standard as well, telling me what to do with my contolpanel and so on...

But strange enough following the link of plumsauce, am getting the right ip's here.
When I do a ping from here I am getting wrong IP's.

Where is it supposed to be going? Right now ns1/ns2.makserver.com seem to be aliases for the websitewelcome.com nameservers... if that's what you're trying to change, it has to be done with GoDaddy, but I have no idea where, specifically. You need an option to create nameservers based on the domain and push them to the registry.

I find it hard to believe that Godaddy is not helping you. I have been with them for years with hosting and domains and have never had a problem with them. Also if you you bought your domains with Godaddy and are hosted their then you have to change the NS in your account with them. It's very easy to do a cave man can do it. After updating thought it can take hours even days for it to take effect. What i'm trying to say is that Godaddy is pretty quick with updating it I think the most i've seen is like 2 hourse for me. BUT that does not mean that it will still work. You still have to wait for the company that now is hosting the new site to propagate their servers and i've seem some companies take awhile to do it. What you need to do is find out if they are in fact changed in the Godaddy account to the right NS info if so then I think I am right saying this that it is no longer a Godaddy problem.

Hello AMessler it was hard for me too. And my new host did propagate my private nameservers days before I asked Godaddy to help me.
The problem clearly was with Godaddy and it is fixed now.
I wrote to the president office at Godaddy and explained them that after 8 years and closely having 200 domains in 3 accounts with them I am leaving.
I did write them about the way their support handled my request with clearly copy and paste all their responses.
What did surprise me that they phoned me twice to Europe and the second time I received apologies for the way Godaddy support have reacted to me and my partner.
And yes it has been outraged that telling me how to enter into my controlpanel instead looking more deeply into the problem.

But I must say that I am pleasantly surprised with this apology from them and also their financial offer (gift) they gave me.
We stopped for now transferring out with all our accounts with them and we will reconsider our decision.
We did transfer some of our domains already to Namecheap and looking at their controlpanel it looks very nice, and their support is very fast. I received within one hour a reply from them which has not been marked as urgent.
