Looking for Ventrilo Dealer

Ok so here is what I am looking for. I either need a ventrilo dealer that allows access to ventrilo_srv.usr (The user file) through ftp access or some sort of api, Or a dealer who can sell me a license that I can put ventrilo on my own server without having to purchase 1000 slots.(Im not sure this is possible, just figured I would ask).

Esentially what I want to do is have it so people that would like to gain access to our ventrilo server would be required to register on our website. Through some back end program(Which I have completed, I just need a provider who allows access to said file) would write these registered users to the ventrilo servers ventrilo_srv.usr file.

If anyone can help me out with this it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Cody

Hi Cody,

I used UGT-Servers.com for abit. All seemed A-OK for the access of ventrilo_srv.usr.

Well you had to ask them to change the settings or provide them with the new ventrilo_srv.usr then they would change it.

Support there is quite fast.

Yah, thats the only problem, I have a program that requires direct access to the file so that it could write in all the information itself instantly. Thank you for the suggestion though.

There are several ventrilo providers that could possibly provide what you want, if not directly (I'm not sure of the terms of the ventrilo license allows for third party access of those settings), through some sort of API like you mentioned.

Some decent providers are: TypeFrag and Darkstar.

You can find more on the Ventrilo provider page: http://ventrilo.com/hosting.php

Direct FTP access to any of the ventrilo files is not allowed.

However, most licensed hosters will allow access via a control panel to the user file to edit/add users.
