If you missed them before, here are (drumroll, please), the NameCheap August specials:

Domain transfers for just $5.99 includes a free SSL, FREE WhoisGuard and a free year added to whatever time is left on your domain name at your current registrar so there is no need to wait to transfer your domains to us. This special is good for .com and .net transfers for 72 hrs using the coupon code: TRANSCHEAP
Domain renewals for $8.48. Renew your domains at our reduced price. This special is good for 48 hrs. Use coupon code: AUGNEWS
.info domains are now just $2.98
A free Comodo PositiveSSL comes with every domain purchase.

And of course, since NameCheap Hosting now has over 5,000 customers after being around just a year, we are now extending the 20 percent off offer on all yearly hosting packages as well. Use coupon code HOSTINGBDAY. It has never been more affordable to set up and maintain a reliable website.

Now is the time to save on for all of your domain and web hosting needs. Please take advantage of these offers. If there is anything else you are looking for from your domain registrar, just let us know in our forums. We welcome feedback here and regularly post updates and new offerings such as our recently developed API.

Thanks again for choosing NameCheap as your preferred domain registration service.

You'll need to be quick on the draw with these transfers. I have the utmost respect for NameCheap as a registrar. So. If you're looking to change registrars any time soon. This is an excellent opportunity.

I think NameCheap made a mistake making expiration time 72 hours. This might lead to some misunderstandings. The *exact* time the coupon expires is August 25 23:59 EST (August 26 03:59 GMT). Just FYI.

Newsletter delivery isn't immediate to all members. So if you got it first, you get some extra time

I tried to take advantage of the TRANSCHEAP deal that was being advertised on the site as still available until the 28 (it was still the 27 here), but the code would not work. I talked to your sales staff and they said it was no longer available, despite being still advertised on the site. Pretty disappointing.

Yet at this time, there was still an ad for this coupon at the top of every page.

It is gone now. But it was up while I was trying to use it.

It's not the money that bothers me -- it's just a dollar -- but I am a little concerned about the practices.

Hello guys,

We went ahead and extended the coupon for another 48 hrs so no issues like this popup but this time it will be unadvertised.
