Special software to track all e-mails

I have a client demanding for special service where he wanted to track all e-mails in/out being sent out because they have a lot of outsourced staff working via e-mail indipendently. I think this is more on a software instead of server configuration or something like that..

What kind of special software which we can install on the server to be able to trace those (without much technical knowledge for the boss to check out those latest e-mails to monitor their work?)

Suggestion?

this doesn't answer your question, but you might want to consider the legal issues - in the UK this wouldn't be legal unless you notified the staff in writing about it, for example.

it's strictly business purpose only, so any idea on what kind of software is suitable for this?

well, depends on the email server , exchange can do this relatively easily, with no software needed.

well the way i'd do it in exchange is have it BCC someone in to every sent/received email for a mailbox, but also rewrite the subject line of the emails, so they can easily be sorted into a folder.

There's plenty of software too

I don't know if any such software is actually available, but one other option is to move your client's email hosting to an email hosting specialist. Luxsci.com's email hosting, for example, has this feature that allows an admin to audit incoming and outgoing email, if I remember correctly.
