I have a dedicated server running Linux. We have a simple form mailer cgi script that we've been using with all the sites on this box for some time now and it's been working perfectly. All of a sudden, an error sprouted yesterday in the error_log. Here is the error that keeps appearing everytime someone submits a form page that uses are form mailer script:
[Mon Sep 2 10:54:30 2002] [error] mod_gzip: DECHUNK option is OFF in somefile
[Mon Sep 2 10:54:30 2002] [error] mod_gzip: Cannot compress chunked response for [POST /contact/mailer.cgi HTTP/1.1]
[Mon Sep 2 10:54:30 2002] [error] mod_gzip: ** Uncompressed responses that use 'Transfer-encoding: chunked'
[Mon Sep 2 10:54:30 2002] [error] mod_gzip: ** must be 'de-chunked' before they can be compressed.
[Mon Sep 2 10:54:30 2002] [error] mod_gzip: ** Turn DECHUNK option ON for this response category.
We tested our form mailing system again on our other server, which was originally configured identically to the one that's getting the error ablve, and all worked perfectly.
I haven't made any changes to the configuration of the box or sscripts or anything. Really perplexed why this error is coming up.
Can anyone explain what's going on here and how I can correct it?
