customer self updates

Hello,

I am new to the forum and have 2 general questions.

I do some small scale work for a local business as well as a couple rock bands. I was approached by someone I know that has a car leasing company that would like a website with the ability for him to upload his own "special of the week" picture with accompanying text. Is this possible? I am currently using Adobe GoLive 7.0.2.

I also am not happy with the lack of Flash implementation in GoLive, so if there is another program that will do both of these things, I am open to that... and if possible a program that also has a Mac version.

Thanks for any insight!

You may want to look into a simple CMS solution for him...something like cushycms.com might work if it's simply changing an images/text.

You can also create your own pretty simple cms by using tiny_mce and some php to save the content to a file, which you then include via php or ssi to where it's needed on the site.

+1 for cushycms. It's by far the easiest to setup, you just need to add a CSS class the the elements you want to edit.
