starting a hosting company

Whats a good billing control panel too use? I was thinking about Plesk Billing (what used to be: Modernbill) is that a good choice? I also heard about WHMCS, can anyone share from personal experience on whats better to use?

We found Modernbill to be too much complicated for our clients. Hence, we have preferred WHMCS over it and can recommend it!

We ran modernbill it is a little complicated but we went with WHCS and its great as well. If your gonn go with cpanel you might want to check out WHM-Autopilot as well.

If cost is an issue to you, I've also heard of http://www.freelancerpanel.com/. I haven't actually used it myself but looking at the demo and for its price, it doesn't look too bad at all! *I use WHMCS myself and it works out great for us.

Would highly recommend WHMCS.. We've had it for a year know and both the features and support are great.. Given how affordable it is I would purchase the license outright, rather than just lease it monthly.. It really depends how much startup capital you have..
