I have just had a quick conversation with monegaboy123 regarding his apparent sale of 115 clients.

It just appears fishy to me, however I'll let you guys form your own opinion and at least there will now be a search result in WHT for anyone else he contacts.

To clarify, you must be a member in good standing, have ad privileges with your regular account, then ask for an anonymous account to sell.

I had a similar looking name e-mail with the same type of requests. I kindly confirmed he was e-mailing the wrong type of company!

I'm guessing they are getting the contact details from our public profiles.

Apparently monegaboy123 does not have an account, however the owner of the company does.

I wouldn't do it, but then again I don't know if that's based upon that conversation or my own feelings. Personally I think clients should choose their host, and not the other way around.

I'd probably consider it spam and ask them to leave me alone. I hate it when people message me on my personal account to try and sell things to me.

It wasn't my personal account however I do consider it as spam as well as I did not ask for them to contact me. Nor have I recently been advertising about wishing to buy clients.

It was a long time ago I looked into it but decided not to.
