    Stay away from Virpus !!!!

    Stay away from this provider !!!!!! Last months I am down straight for 7 days but they promise to improve they service and I give them a chance, now I am down for 3 days straight with no response from them, here the proof:

    3 days straight sounds pretty bad, I would be interested to see what Virpus would say about this.

    If you have been down for 3 days straight without any explanation, especially after having been down for 7 days straight the month before, I would strongly recommend just switching to a new host. There is no reason at all why a host can't at least give you even a decent explanation of why you've been down for so long, and 10 days+ outage in two months is ridiculous in my opinion.

    Like I have told you in another post you have made, you need to open a ticket with us. You claim you opened a ticket with 'no response' which is simply untrue. We don't have any unanswered tickets nor any pending tickets awaiting for any admins.

    All of our nodes are online and running just fine. You need to contact us to obtain support, as WHT is not where you will find it.

    My recommendation (to the OP), assuming that for some reason your emails are having trouble reaching Virpus, is to send Ken a PM with the details of your account so that he can check on it for you. At this stage (unless he happens to be able to guess based on your username or similar) there's no way he can verify which VPS is yours, which makes confirming if there's a problem or not a very difficult exercise.

    Likewise your post basically states that the VPS is currently offline, yet you haven't told us a domain name that we could use to check in case there's some reason why it's offline just from your side?

    Finally, often a complete "outage" like this is caused by some billing issue - are you up to date with your payments?

    If this is who I think it is, there VPS was never down, however their services WERE continuing to fail due to RAM allocation, which was advised to the customer even before he made this post here on WHT, which I think he may simply be taking advantage of the situation of the other threads being posted here.

    This also makes me wonder why in the world would this customer make the claim that we never responded to him, when within minutes did we begin investigating the issue and after working with the customer, determined the cause.

    I honestly hope this isn't who I think it is, but it is the only person with issues such as the OP's post that I can relate to.

    I do believe, you'll need to verify if he's the same customer as you are thinking of. May be he can PM you his ticket #/domain name so that you can provide an explanation.

    If your: "We are working with your issue and we will update you shortly." for 3 days straight mean "RESPOND"? I am expect something different than excuses like RAM problems, MySQL problems, Named problems.... ETC

    I want service which I pay for !!!

    Today is 4 days straight down, don't tell me it's RAM issue just stop overselling!!!

    Now I want my VPS/WHM back online. I will back up my data and run away from your "service" as far as I can.

    This is indeed the client.

    On the 6th the client opened a ticket. Within the hour, we were able to see that RAM was the issue. And if we were overloading our servers that severely to where your services are failing on a daily basis, don't you think we'd see more complaints here on WHT? In terms of RAM anyways, it is simply impossible for us to oversell our RAM due to how the resources are setup on the node you're on. Furthermore, continuing to reply with "I want the service I am paying for" on your tickets won't resolve your issue being that your constantly hitting your RAM limits.

    And again, not exactly sure why you said that you never received 'any type of response'. As I first said, its simply untrue.

    So...

    1. You are getting the service you are paying for.

    2. You received a response within one hour of opening your ticket, to the contrary of 'never receiving a reply' as you claim.

    3. WHT is not our help desk, and you posting your bogus information is not helping you on here.

    Depending on what plan you're on, it can definitely be a RAM issue. cPanel/WHM takes up a significant amount of RAM (even the VPS optimized version). You should at least be on Virpus' Edge VPS plan to be able to run it somewhat stably.

    Sounds like you have your answer. You're using to much RAM. Need to upgrade. Seems simple to me.

    It might also be an issue where you need to go to shard hosting as it sounds like it would be better suited to your skill set.
