mysqldump Question

Can anyone tell me what the "-a" option is for in mysqldump? I've seen it in use but can't seem to find it in the documentation.

I believe it is the same as --all-databases

Below is an explanation of using '-a' option with the 'mysqldump' command:

"-a, --all Deprecated. Use --create-options instead."

More information about available options for the 'mysqldump' command you can find by executing the 'mysqldump --help | less'.

That's the uppercase: -A

I'm talking about the lowercase: -a

See below.

-a, --all --> Deprecated. Use --create-options instead.

--create-options --> Include all MySQL specific create options.
