    what do you use for WebServer on W2k?

    Is IIS a good webserver? is it able to host 100s virtual host? any alternatives?

    any comments will be appreciated. thank you.

    Yes and yes. Most server software is more dependant on hardware. A high end server will be able to deal with more sites than a low end one.

    IIS6 (.net server) is far better built with the ability to deal with 1000s rather than 100s of sites.

    IIS is the best web server. Most of the clients prefer IIS on windows server. It is capable of handling 100s of virtual hosts. It has many features for easy site development.
