Email Notification for root access in Plesk

How do we set our Plesk VPS so that when someone logs in as root, we will receive an email. It's on a VZ node.

Logging into Plesk under root or SSH? If SSH you can just create a simple script to e-mail you when they login (.bashrc file) - simple yet effective way to be notified of when someone logs into the root account.

If you want to know when someone logs in as root in Plesk I'm not sure, you may want to check the Plesk forums.

vi /root/.bashrc

Scroll to the end of the file then add the following:
echo 'ALERT - Root Shell Access (HostName) on:' `date` `who` | mail -s "Alert: Root Access from `who
| cut -d"(" -f2 | cut -d")" -f1`" user@yourdomain.com
