    Recommendation: dot5hosting

Normally I don't recommend web hosts, but dot5hosting has gone above and beyond. For starters, there are some really nice/smart people behind the scenes. They realize the value of not overloading servers or taking signups so fast they can't cope. It's always easy to get to a real person.. through email, aim, icq, etc. Pages load quickly, and the control panel (ensim) is extremely functional. I signed up, and five minutes later I had all my account information. Even though the person I was talking to on ICQ was pretty sure I was going to sign up, he offered me a 10% discount with the coupon code 'FINDSP.' If you're looking to change hosts, find a new hosting place, or be a 3rd tier reseller, I would highly suggest dot5. I used to be on hostpacket.. yeah.. well.. we all know what's happening to them.

Hi whee. Welcome to the madness. Be forwarned though that are a lot of cynical people around here that would think your post carried more weight if you included a url of a web site.

Glad you're happy. Do you have a site hosted? Or?
There is no best host. There is only the host that's best for you.

WoW, dot5hosting is turning away people, to prevent overloading servers. Gee how do they chose who to add and who not to add?
Is there a special selection process, like only add big accounts?

I wonder how many other names you posted under today, knocking Hostpacket.

I will most likely have to switch hosts, but I really can't believe the extent some people will go to, to drum up business.

BTW, when I signed with Hostpacket, kevin was live in chat, and answered all questions, and has been ever since. That is until today!

Actually, just one [at the hostpacket forums as a guest]. After all, they only lost my files and all my client's files once.
