Question

Record cellphone calls?

This is not for illegal use.

I need to record all my conversations from my cellphone which I own.

Any recommendations ? software (Don't care about price) ?

Thank you

Appreciated.

People talking reckless is the reason.

Some cellphones allow you to record calls with a feature already built in, have you checked that out?

You need to notify those who you talk to that they are being recorded.

Peace,

Peace,
Depends on what state he is in. For example, in Texas only one party is required to know, and he would be that party. The law also only covers businesses. Not private use.

Yes but I need it done remotely where the call goes somewhere rather than the cellphone itself I only seen 1 website offering something like that but looking for other options.

Peace,
That's actually not true. In Michigan, where I live, only 1 person has to know about it.

Not here in California.

You have to notify the other person that he/she is being recorded.

Correct. It's kinda stupid. Like a criminial is going to spill his secrets while he knows he is being recorded. Makes me think criminals wrote the laws there. Here's a state by state guide on phone recording.

Just for information, most phones that have the function to record calls (in Europe at least) make the other person aware that they are being recorded by beeping quietly every now and again.

That's a civil code, which I do not believe applies to cops and federal agents on the job. A undercover agent can definitely record conversations without the other parties consent.

Well, we value our privacy. We don't want any hidden camera capturing our private and embarrassing conversations. Security cameras cannot record audio. You can however take your camcorder and record all the conversations in public all you want.

So remember, even if your state allows recording conversations without the other parties consent, make sure the other party in not from California or any state that require the consent of all parties involved.

Yes, we have it here too. Devices the go beep, beep, beep every few seconds when you are recording the conversation. My answering machine does that when I press record conversation.

Pretty much like the red light on video cameras that go on when it's recording so you'll know you are being recorded, or mandatory click/shutter noises on cell phones with cameras built-in.

But still, most people will not think "My call is recorded" when they hear beeps every few minutes or something. One might just think the person he/she is calling is pressing some button accidentally
