Hey guys, I'm getting ready to launch http://www.popboards.com this friday. Was just wondering if you could give me some feedback on the site (design, server speed, ect). Its only about 40% done currently. Thanks so much.

Server was real quick (I'm on at work via multi-T1's.) Of course, you don't have a very big database for UBB to work with. I've heard from many sources that if your site gets to popular, it'll bog right down. Chicken may or may not have anything to say about it.

If you're looking for a free threads program, I've heard nothing but raving about phpBB. Once they release the next version (2.0) I plan on installing it. ATM I'm using the free version of vBulletin (which really shouldn't be used as a real board.) I love VB and if I could justify the $160 for my dinky little site, I'd do it. Maybe in a few years when the board gets bigger. I've definitely read to avoid UBB though as it becomes a troublesome resource hog over time.
