I'm going to guess that your customer wants a piece of paper that he can show to his manager or somebody. Or maybe he just wants to see it himself. Not everybody operates online all the time.
So perhaps what you need is the following:
- Make a document in your favorite word processor with your company logo on it, so it looks professional.
- Include a table of your plans and their prices.
- Include a little bit, not too much, of sales-oriented information.
That's your price list. Now make a separate document. This one is a letter, also with your logo on it, from you to him. This letter is your proposal. Say how happy you are to present him with the information he requested about your plans, etc. And then offer him a small discount, perhaps, available only to him for a limited time because you are so eager to start providing his hosting needs, etc.
Finally, if appropriate, create one more document. This is a signup sheet. If you will be present with him, maybe this isn't needed. If you're mailing the proposal to him, you do need this. You want some way for him to take action and sign up. This form has checkboxes for the plans and options he wants, perhaps agreement to terms, and payment information plus signature.
Enclose all three in an envelope, and deliver. You're done.
