Hey everyone,
Feel free to move this post if this isn't the correct section but I figured this was best.
Anthony Bullock. A young talented designer that is known fairly well around WHT and many of the other boards we frequent. I've known Anthony since he was basically learning Photoshop almost 6-8 years ago which is why I didn't see an issue hiring him for some recent design work.
Contract Amount was set for $800 which included 3 PSD designs. I submitted the typical designer request of 50% upfront and then went on my way. I was assured I'd be shown screenshots the next day. I figured a day was a little unrealistic so I mentioned that a week was perfectly fine.
May 16th, 2008 - We spoke over IM and had a chance to catchup after a couple years of no communications.
May 25th, 2008 - We decided on a final price and what the price covered/included. $400 (50%) was sent via PayPal.
May 26th, 2008 - Anthony contacted me seeking some direction. I told him to hang tight and I'd send a document his way. The document was sent to him on May 27th, 2008.
May 28th, 2008 - Anthony confirms he received my document and will have a "draft" available on the 29th for us to see the direction he's heading.
June 3rd, 2008 - After sending Anthony a couple of emails during the days of the 28th and the 3rd, I finally caught him on MSN.

No word yet but I'm going to start in the next hour. I've been having some relationship troubles that are only just now beginning to sort themselves out so unfortunatley that's been in the way of everything in general. I'm so so sorry for skipping on the previous deadline
You can rest assured that by this time tomorrow you'll definitley see something fleshy and mouth watering!

June 10th, 2008 - Anthony claims to have sent me a draft and then blames his email provider because I didn't receive it. I was assured he was going to resend it along with the email headers from the original message.
THIS WAS THE LAST TIME I SPOKE WITH ANTHONY.
Anthony, this message was created to warn anyone and everyone of your disrespectful attitude and inability to meet deadlines. The $400 you were given is nothing to me. I've wasted $400 on much worse in my life. What really gets me is the lying to my face and the fact you didn't hurt me, but my business.
Anyways, thanks for listening everyone and be sure to stay clear of this guy. We'll see how I make out going after my $400 but like I said, if it's too much work I'll just forget about it.
