    ravio

My companies site, ravio, opened the other day and I am looking for some constructive criticism. We offer web design and vBulletin services.

    * Nice Flash Too!

Very well done, the only thing I see is the text seems a little large. At 1280x1024 the text is big, at 800x600 I am guessing it's huge. I am running Win-2K IE6 text size set to medium.

The site looks good. The gap between the body and the header is big. Fonts are large. You have made good animation.

    Keep up the good work.

Your site does look great! Your portfolio has alot of great content. One thing You might want to keep a local copy or even just screen shots of the sites as one of your links to the site is broken, sorry dont remember which.

You are under utilizing the flash header you have there. You could do so much more with it. Try doing some cool stuff in After Effects and really grab someones attention when they first come in.

Thanks for the feedback. The only places that the fonts were big was in the main intro and in the About page. I have now edited even these to be smaller.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks Tranz. After reading I went through the portfolio to find the bad link, I did find it but it's just because the site is down for some odd reason for that client. If the site was not live, I would have added a local link (Such as the gamebust design in the portfolio). But because the site is live and working, I of course linked directly.

The flash was kept simple for a few reasons. The main one was load time. While I wanted to utilize flash for some "life" on the main page, I did not want one where you spent more time watching a loading screen than the intro itself. lol

Haha, I love the Half-Life scientist in the flash header. Something only a gamer would point out I'd imagine. But yes, just like Tranz said...you could have made more use out of the flash header.

But all in all, it is jadocs. (Just another damn outstanding c-pr0mpt site)

Hey, Nice site. Great combination of flash, imagery and text. Well done. My only suggestion would be to have a link/button to turn off the audio. It got monotnious after 10 minutes through the site. I didn't find one or did I miss it? If so disregard.

Its right where it says audio. And the music only plays if you choose to play the intro, so not sure how it could be playing for the 10 minutes of surfing.

Sorry I missed the audio button, like I said disreguard if you have it, I just didn't see it.

I guest I should have myself a bit clearer. I had opened two different windows to view your site (why, I don't know, just did) and I played the intro a like 3-4 times, but then viewed the other window to look at the site. jeez, I'm confusing myself.

Anyway, the site is very nicely done and well balanced and organized.

Impressive website, you are a quite talented designer. I really like your logo, clean and modern. The only thing i'm not totally sure about is the menu, I think the font should be different, something less.. playful. That's all I can really pick on, at the moment.

    Well done.
