buy dedicated from burstnet via reseller
Hello,
Whats your experience when buying a server via a burstnet reseller?
How long does it take to respond back to you or any ticket/question you submit?
Also if it takes too much to get any news by the reseller can you contact burstnet directly? If you cancel the account while pending do you take refund ?
Thanks

I have never ever contacted the reseller for any reason whats so ever after they passed me on the server details. Payment is via PayPal subscription. So haven't even visited their site in months.
Each reseller has different response times, you need to do proper research before signing up with any.
I doubt you can contact BurstNET directly and I doubt again that you will get a refund while your order is in the pending status.

Ever reseller will have their own policies on refunds and stuff, so unless you tell us which particular reseller you are talking about we are sorry our mind reading capabilities are limited to only bunnies.
Cheers

The support is done via burstnet after you have the server setup or via the reseller?
I am glad I joined WHT

You may always contact BurstNET for direct support; however, some issues might need to pass through the reseller such as O/S reloads and hardware upgrades.

You answer faster than the reseller :p
I am starting to regret it I didn't ordered directly from burstnet or someone else that is active on reseller on this forum. The reseller I mention is a member on this forum (I just discovered it ) anyway I don't want to mention the name.
I hope it won't take forever to get at least one reply
When an order is submited and paid via the reseller, burstnet is aware of the order automatically ?
Thanks for all the replies

No. Reseller should make order on burst (automatically or manually).

The problem is the reseller told me they have 24h/7 day support I have submited 2 tickets and no response after 4 hours, thats not 24h support.
I have already experience with other dedicated server and I usually receive replies in 30 minutes

There's a distinct difference between 24x7 support and a guaranteed response time. Do they have some sort of turn around time promised on support requests?

If you don't need real 24x7 support then wait until tickets will updated. If you need support 24x7 then go with other reseller who has a team and that team is online 24x7 or go directly with Burst.

I never had a server from them, but what I have personally seen from posts here are long set up times. It seems that it takes close to 3 days for them to set up a server.

Till now I had great response time from every company I have tried.
Is there anyway to transfer my order to burstnet or even cancel it? There is an option to cancel it but I don't know if that means I will get a refund or it will just cancel it for the next month.

Can you please tell me if the reseller for some reason is gone, out of business, what happens with your dedicated server?
Thanks

As far as I know if the reseller is gone you might be able to contact Burst directly and see if they can help you. The cancellation option is really going to depend upon what company you purchased that server from, as each company dictates its own terms of service to a certain degree.
