Pico is a Linux based editor which I use to edit pages over SSH once they're already uploaded. I don't think there is a win32 version.

You might be able to find something on the Pine/Pico pages at http://www.washington.edu/pine/

These are the only two weapons in my arsenal:
    -Photoshop 7
    -Notepad

Any more software would bankrupt me...

    A small tip:

Computer magazine competitions - they helped out quite a bit with my collection.

    Dreamweaver
    3d Studio Max
    Illustrator 9.0

I don't use all of them sometimes, though.

I wonder what some of the people of PixelBrick use. Hmmm
I am 97% sure they use dreamweaver for html - the source looks like dreamweavers work.

    Photoshop
    Dreamweaver (Here and there)
Frontpage 2k (Messes up code, but I use it for the most basic thing - Styleless tables skeleton - Very easy to do them with it and saves a lot of fuss)
Flash - Rarely, for very basic animations. I don't have a flash license (yet), so I use it on a friends computer.
Paintshop Pro 7 - Easy to use, does a fast and good job for basic needs
Fireworks - I don't own it, use it rarely for optimization and menu's using a friend's computer (yes, it's the same friend )

    My secret weapon - TidyGUI.
It's invincible. Search for it in Google and download it.
It tides up your HTML code, making it W3C and XHTML compliant.

    HomeSite 5.0
Photoshop 6 and 7 (Depending Where I am)
    ImageReady
    Coffecup FireStarter for flash
NotePad when HS is not accesible.
    Dreamweaver sparingly
Illustrator 9 and 10 (Again, Depending Where I am)

I've found HomeSite to be the best thing between NotePad and the webpage editing software

The number one tool we use is:

    The VI editor!!!!

    We also use:

    Windows Notepad!

But aswell, my designers have access to the following:

    Adobe Photoshop 6
    Adobe Illustrator 10
    Adobe Imageready
    Macromedia Flash MX
    Macromedia Dreamweaver MX
Maya 3D <~~~Hasn't been used(much) by anyone in awhile
    3d Studio Max
Xara 3D <~~~Hasn't been used by anyone in awhile
    Strata 3D

They also all love this free xfree editor for nix, its just like 3d studio max, ill ask them the name when they are back in.

Most of the code on the sites we make is written in VI editor. Most of the design in photoshop and flash, and for 3d we use 3dsmax most commonly.

    Don't forget:

    - validator.w3.org
    (checks HTML pages for errors)

    - jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/
    (checks CSS for errors)

    - Xenu
    (looks for dead links)
What do you mean I'm not in shape? Round is a shape too, isn't it?

    Dreamweaver 4
    Paint Shop Pro 7
    Adobe Photoshop 6
    Corel Photo-Paint (Occasionally)
    Adobe Illustrator 9 (Occasionally)

Most of the sites are do are adult in nature, so need nothing more than Dreamweaver and Photoshop, but I play with the others.

How is DreamweaverMX for those that are using it, haven't had the $$ to get the upgrade yet.
