Hello,

I been investigating into the Data102 located in Colorado Springs for colocation, and I am curious if anyone have any experience with them. Their network feeds seems pretty good, composing of Level3, Time Warner Telecom & Cogent Communications, with several other located in the same building such as MCI/UUNet/Verizon, Broadwing, Legacy ICG, Qwest, 360 Networks & WilTel.

From the traceroute tests, they seems to be primarly L3 network, with other 2 as lesser routes from testing on several locations.

Unfortunately for us, Data102 has very few customers that frequent WHT. I know that our sales guy, Travis, worked with Karl Zimmerman from Steadfast briefly; we do however, have tons of customers that would be willing to vouch for us. I'm just a network guy - I'm sure that Travis would be pleased to earn your business.

On the network note, we don't do any traffic engineering except for those customers that really want it, and we generally see that TWTelecom is the majority of our bandwidth at ~45%, Level3 close behind at ~35% and Cogent considerably behind soaking up the rest.

The company I work for is currently co-located with data102. We have 12 racks total and plan to add more in the future. They are quick to respond to issues that may arise and at times have gone out of their way to help us when we are having issues not related to them. The best part is being able to get a hold of them quickly and get issues resolved on a very quick turn around.

All I can say is after over 10 years of being co-located all over Colorado this is by far the best facility we have been in and the reason we continue to expand in the facility.
