Looking for perfect server configuration

Hi there,

I am looking for setup my new server, will run few databases and few scripts in php (all easy and famous scripts like wordpress, phpbb..). I Would like security, rewrite configuration (in httpd.conf, forget htaccess) etc..
I am going to have the server here, in Holland and I would like support in all configuration. The server is blank, 0% installed. I need someone to know how can we configured from 0% to 100%, that is, have my website and server fully configured to put in ISP (leaseweb)

I need several applications to install (+/-30), linux, apache, zimbra, Imagemagic, spamassasin, Sphinx, phpmyadmin, gzinflate, etc.

I want that the person hired has Skype to chat there.

Please leave a message here if you are interested or company's link.

Thanks

It looks like you'll need some customization on the server. What you you going to do, what kind of websites? I don't see any hardware requirements but from what is posted above I think you can get Core 2 Duo or similar machine. You have 2 options - to get managed server or to hire someone to do the admin work on a dedicated server. If you're going for second one, just search for server management services around.

I have a 1U server now:

Intel Xeon 3200 9.6Ghz 8gb memory
150gb hdd 10000rpm
1tb hdd 7500rpm

I am going to have several websites in php coding with mysql.

What is the best Linux? The people have different ideas, I was thinking in new Ubuntu. Apache or lighttpd?

Who is the best management company?

Thanks
