I believe that most of the ASP solutions for apache support ASP only in Perl mode, not VB. However, Chilisoft appears to support some of the functions. You can check out there product informatio on their website at http://www.chilisoft.com/chiliasp/default.asp

ASP scripts cannot run on apache.

It should have a windows server.

Chilisoft is a great way to offer basic ASP functionality on a Unix machine. It is not the perfect solution, nor the right one for intense ASP scripting, but for the "newbie" webpages that use ASP for form processing, interactive menus, and little bots, it works great IMNSHO.

ASP and VB are a very good choice of programming languages. Granted, I prefer PHP and UNIX... but if ASP/VB were a bad choice, then question why sites such as Amazon or E-Bay use VB.

As for Chilisoft... It is nowhere near as efficient as running on IIS, but if you 100% need to run on Apache, and 100% need to use ASP, then its pretty much your only option.
