    H-Sphere

i was doing the H-Sphere demo today and was quite impressed by its functionality. however, I think it may be too hard for resellers to use. Is this just me or do others agree as well?

I would like to know because i can't decide between cpanel/whm and h-sphere. Any input given would be greatly appreciated.

Ok but i found deals where you can you use either or free. Meaning no monthly payments and no setup. Of course this is a reseller account.

And why do you think it can't be done with HSphere? With HSphere, you don't need a reseller account to be able to host unlimited domains, a standar hosting plans will do!

From what i noticed and read, you have a certain number of licenses per user but the user can have unlimitted domains. Also, there is no monthly fee for h-sphere unlike cpanel/whm.

I think you'll find this to be incorrect. From my research when I was considering switching to a different control panel I concluded that each H-Sphere licence entitles you to host 10 domains, and not unlimited domains as you stated. This could of course be incorrect as the information on H-Sphere is a bit unclear, but I doubt they would let a user host unlimited domains under a single $4.50 licence.

In the end I opted for CPanel as I got it during their Independance Day 50% off special, which just about made it affordable

Tazzman you can host as many domains as you like under one account in H-Sphere. The accounts give you billing and support for that user. If you put your users under one accoutn say 20 domains under one. Then they can't login to the control panel or get FTP very easy. But we do it all day long..

Seems odd to me that they would allow that, means people will need less licences, thus they will loose money they could be making, but that's their right. I'll just stick with CPanel/WHM, I've grown quite fond of it and so have the people I host (boy, were they glad Ensim went out of the window )

HSphere is confusing at first. It takes a few days to get used to it. Once you do...

There's no comparison with CPanel/WHM or Ensim - I've run all three and just got rid of my last Cpanel/WHM server. And I'm down to my last Ensim server. Can't wait to get them moved to HSphere too. Just ordered another HShpere equipped machine...

And the support is very good.

With Hsphere do you need to pay the installation fee per server?
Or only for the control server and then the per user for everyone that signs up on each server?

There site is a little vague about things.

Try emailing them or call them. They were really helpful and quick when I sent them an inquiry.
