I just installed a second hard drive on this computer so Windows is shiny fresh at the moment... should end up cluttered again before long.

Planning my Linux install for the second (old) drive - currently D:\

I was reading a review of Gnome2 last night actually. Seems they have a bit to go till it's as good as KDE though.

I haven't changed my wallpaper in a year or better.

    I hate change.

I love my TrueLaunch bar though. Which is what I left expanded.
All those icons expand like that. I never go to Start>Programs>SomthingElse

Quite boring but it does the job

I always use Winkey+R - I never use start or desktop icons (programs install them... i can't be bothered removing them).

Full size since it won't look anywhere near as impressive scaled down.

I was trying MDK beta 9.0.

So not to be bias I tried Gnome 2.0 FIRST. I thought it was amazing but then when I tried KDE 3.x I was disappointed. KDE is so much easier to use/configure. Everything is much easer to find. It is light years ahead of gone

Both Gnome and KDE come with "screen capture" programs. pm me if you need more help. At least mandrake ships both with screen capture programs
