[cPanel] Accounts transferred, email problems
Hi,
I tranferred all my accounts from my old cpanel server to my new one,
Updated the DNS records with my registrar to the new ips, unfortunately e-mail is not working, i used the trouble shooter and seems to trying to relay or something my mail to the old IP.
any suggestions,
I keep getting this error when trying to send to an account
IPdoes not like recipient.
Remote host said: [IP DOMAIN] is currently not
550-permitted to relay through this server. Perhaps you have not logged into
550-the pop/imap server in the last 30 minutes or do not have SMTP
550 Authentication turned on in your email client.
Giving up on [IP].

Happen to me almost every time I transfer account from another cPanel Box, just put your domains in /etc/localdomains manually and remove from /etc/remotedomains (if listed there).
I still don't know how to prevent this from happening.Magnet Hosting | Layanan Hosting dan Server Indonesia

How long has it been since you changed DNS? I know I've had problems changing to new server that just because you see the site on the new server the path the email takes might see the old DNS if they haven't fully switched yet.

Pretty common cpanel error/bug, each transfer we did in the last few months had that error.
Don't just add those domains to /etc/localdomains - if you run /scripts/fixeverything cpanel will delete those domains from /etc/localdomains (fun!)ReflexNetworks means Happy Clients!
