    * Bad experience with Xila Hosting !!

    Hi,

    A month or so ago I tried Xila Hosting for a trail website I was making and I canceled the account and asked for a refund.

    Never got a reply to it.

    They have rubbish support.

    I never got the refund.

    A few days ago I got billed for hosting I don't even have.

    Its one of those things where it automatically pays for itself.

    I never knew it was there as I must have forgot but they never told me to cancel it.

    They have not issued a refund for that either.

    I have opened a PayPal dispute a few days ago and they don't even reply to that.

    I hope you get your money back. It helps to have full documentation on your efforts to cancel. Best of luck to you sir, I hope you find a great host.

    I haven't used PayPal subscription, so I'm curious. Who has can cancel the subscription?

    Sorry to hear about your problems with them. Your best bet is to continue to pound on thier support till they help you. Paypal wont help you because its service and they almost never get involved with service disputes.

    Either party. It is buried away under the profile area or something.

    I have given up on contacting them for the time being.

    I will see what PayPal does.

    Don't hold your breath. PayPal doesn't cover intangible items.

    Yes, but he mentioned that the host isn't replying to the dispute? I forgot whether or not it would just default to the person opening claim if the other party doesn't respond?

    Though yea if your host does respond, then it is a service and not a tangible product so you won't recieve your refund via PayPal.
